        Ilex 'Golden King'   Although this holly has a male name  it is female 

        and its large red berries in winter testify this. large yellow and green 

                                    variegated leaves are evergreen. A handsome shrub growing

                                     Itea virginica A small deciduous shrub that has clusters 

                                     of fragrant cream flowers mid summer. The foliage often

          Leycesteria formosa (pheasant berry bush) Loved by birds and insects, 

         this upright deciduous shrub has bamboo like stems which remain green 

        throughout the year. The white flowers are surrounded by purple bracts
