Sambucus 'Black Lace'
Fine filigree dark burgundy almost black leaves and
clusters of tiny pink flowers in early summer. Responds well to hard pruning,
which will make it bushier. 10 - 15 feet if left unpruned.

Schizophragma hydrangeoides Deciduous woody stemmed root climber. In
summer it has flat heads of creamy white flowers surrounded by sterile florets.
Grows best in sun, but will grow on a north wall. Prefers a well drained soil.

Sinocalycanthus chinensis
Nodding flowers 2 .5 inches across are white and
yellow with maroon markings at the base. They are borne in summer. The

yellow pea shaped
flowers appear in late spring. Best grown against a sunny wall. 15 - 20 feet.
